BBA is a four years, 126 credit hour Bachelor level
program of Pokhara University. It prepares student as professionals
who have knowledge , skills, confidence, and motivation to perform
competitively in organizations of the modern age. It equips students
to manage business and become effective leaders in today's competitive
workplace.
BBA at CCT college is a practical and valuable
means of gaining a business qualification that provides an exposure
to the challenges of doing business in global context. The program
has a wide coverage of conceptual inputs has emphasis on practical
application that familiarize students with the overall functioning
of organization and their interaction s with total environment
within they operate. |

Program Objectives |
The BBA program at the Faculty of
Management Studies (FMS) of Pokhara University is designed to
produce professional managers. The program provides students with
sound conceptual foundation and practical skill in various areas
of business. Specially this program aims to:
- Prepare students to start professional career in business
or public management at entry level managerial positions;
- Include positive attitude, abilities and practical skills that are essentially
for a socially responsible and competent managers; and
- Develop adequate foundation for graduate level studies in management.

Program Features |
The FMS carefully selects
students from large pool of applicants. Only those applicants who
demonstrate the potential for completing BCA program are selected
through admission tests. |
- The Language of instruction at FMS is English .A BCA student is expected to have a good English
language proficiency and an acceptable verbal communication skill.
- If a student is considered deficient in any subject, he/she will be required to take specific
course to cover deficiency before he/she is allowed to take regular BCA courses
- Lecturers are supported by case studies, group discussions, project assignment; field visits,
and class presentations .To enrich teaching -learning endeavors, audio-visual aids are also used.
- Student's participation in class group -discussions and individual presentation are highly
emphasized to develop leadership and communication skills in them.

Career Opportunities |
Every organization , irrespective
of its nature, size or location, needs human resources trained
in the field of management. The BBA program at CCT prepares students
to join at entry level in any of marketing, finance, accounting,
human resources or information system functions of social and
business organizations within or outside the country. Organizations
in manufacturing or service, private or public, domestic or international,
small or large, profit making or non-profit making sector recruit
a number of BBA degree holders. Students, upon completion of BBA
program with specialization in one of various functional areas
of management, will have opportunities to join commercial banks,
finance companies, insurance companies, and other organizations
in hotel and tourism sector in Nepal. |

Further Study Options |
The BBA graduate may also choose to peruse
Masters level programs in management, information systems or other
areas. |
